History of CIPS

Since its formation in 1997 and under the leadership of founding director Dr. John Haddock (1997-98) and the Executive Director, Dr. Blaine Brownell (1998-2000) and Dr. Calvin H. Allen, Director from 2000-2002, CIPS has established itself at the center of internationalization and globalization efforts at the University. Under the leadership of Dr. Tom Nenon, (2002-2005) the office integrated itself into the operations of the division of Academic Affairs.  Today, under the direction of Dr. Jennifer Wagner-Lawlor, we are working to not only continue the tradition of excellence in service to the University community, but to reach out to new and prospective international students as well.
